V 22 Osprey
Cost so far 30 lives to develop, $20 billion to build and test, is not deemed fit for service, doesn't fire rockets well YET it is on it's way to serve America's war in Iraq.

And of course the implication of the V 22 Osprey going to war is this: they will further the continue a war machine testing on a population of humans we have already murdered, raped, crippled and hurt psychologically as we occupy their land without their permission and make oil deals without their best interest all for the Bush family vendetta and various billionaires who profit and will profit off the war.

Has anyone addressed the Iraq/Afghani peoples experiencing PTSD?
PTSD symptoms may include: nightmares, flashbacks, emotional detachment or numbing of feelings (emotional self-mortification or dissociation), insomnia, avoidance of reminders and extreme distress when exposed to the reminders ("triggers"), loss of appetite, irritability, hypervigilance, memory loss (may appear as difficulty paying attention), excessive startle response, clinical depression, and anxiety.
A person suffering from PTSD may also exhibit one or more comorbid psychiatric disorders. These may include clinical depression (or bipolar disorder), general anxiety disorder, and a variety of addictions. -- Wikipedia

Black Water
Posted by:DB | October 03, 2007 at 07:54 AM
It's real
how the American masters of war now run Iraq with ruthless American military power and authority ordering our soldiers to do whatever the masters tell them and they do it despite a God given awareness of morals and ethics which should and could be voiced at the outrageousness of this war on any level, vigilante ruthless Blackwater criminals, capitalistic billionaire monied individuals and corporations catering, building, rebuilding, manipulating and calculating on oil revenues for themselves AS they lift up the great Iraqi demockracy they engineered. The quality, meaning and worth of life is the almighty $ traded for arms, oil, and whatever else can be bought and sold.

Okay, I'm here. I probably am just tired of the campaigning because we're not used to it going on as long as it has. At least I know GWB won't be president after Jannuary.
Posted by:Kate | April 03, 2008 at 08:41 AM
we aren't used to be going on for so long, kate, but really; the fatigue comes from the candidates to choose from. i'm voting none of the above.
Posted by:zero | April 03, 2008 at 08:49 PM
Does that mean you're not going to vote or will you write-in?
Posted by:Kate | April 07, 2008 at 12:24 PM
i will vote and i will vote none of the above.
Posted by:zero | April 09, 2008 at 02:57 PM
I figured you'd vote. :-D Jesse Ventura was lobbying for a "None of the Above" box on the ballot the other day.

I am bitterly clinging to this blog. Anyone want to hear how my Dad taught me to shoot a rifle? No? Well I bowl better than Obama too. Okay, that's not true.
Anybody tired of the candidates trying to out simply folk the others?

Well us'ns folks shared the love for the little sacks of Planters salted peanuts dumped in coca cola and I am wondering if any but Jimmy Carter in that exclusive league (one and all) can testify to that and him not running... I guess. In the NYT article and call for reader response concerning W. Bush's ratings with some 200 historians as being mostly nearly 100% worse ever to date conclusively in that poll while Jimmy actually entered his opinion around 15 down after my own in the public response list. He said in essence that W had defimately topped the previous Carter rating for all time worse President. Well, now we all know that and it is now the plight of who's next. Ever pray for the 2nd coming??

i'm clinging with you, kate. i miss our community here. if you, david and i are al that remains, then we are still here! still here and we shall not give up. yes, i very tired of all of them and was long ago. i hate, hate, hate the media. if anyone believes that the "people" elect candidates, they need to have their heads examined. i want to scream! WAKE UP YOU MISERABLE SHEEP!!!!!!! david, i still like peanuts dumped in coca cola. let's throw in a moon pie chaser. w is without a doubt, no holds barred the absolute worst pretender ever to occupy the white house. while raping the nation and foreign soil, bush has "legally" drained the u.s. treasury by outsourcing everything task conceivable to his cronies. oh, we will pay and pay and pay for this miserable excuse of a human being. i can't wait for oliver stone's movie about w and the bushes. it will be amazing. yes, kate. tell us about how your daddy taught you to shoot a rifle.

You know with my time freed up from this blog corresponding I now gaarden more and study scripture to prepare me for my weekly visits by 2 older Jehovah Witnesses. Wolfhart Pannenberg's
Jesus/ God and Man is delightful preparatory reading. As I study what they confess I find my own confession believes about the reality of "hell" (somehow connected to Cheney Bush people [if I am right about things just, righteous and divine]), the "Trinitarian God-Head" 9father goes wothout saying but I must add I love the Holy Spirit woith us and jesus, my hero and Lord), and a personal divine/human relationship w/o common denominator black and whites that ignore one biblical comment over choosing another for final faith belief modus operandi [as one who has problems being told by others how I and other humans should come before The Alimighty]. The 2 young Mormons no longer visit although I did get to put a copy of their bible they gave me on the alter of this small southern town's hospital chapel when and where I was questioned rather emphatically about this proposition that hospitals give nurture and healing to everyone regardless of who and what they are as long as they come under the category "human". I was fired [shit canned] over other circumstances stated but my popularity poll was nile as I last packed my things in my office and left the chaplaincy on Dec. 23, 07. Lot's of time now as my family heads towards keeping the faith and the bills paid in these troubled times of Bushonomics and my wife's first year teacher's salary. Lean times makes for firming up not only the body but the faith, eh? Lotafaith! Lotalean! Can't wait to flex my "new" abs about July 4th and come election time next Novembere I will probably be a muscle riippling 59 yo sleek lean fighting machine ready to cry at the voter's choices... or maybe too weak like a Holocaust victim to go anywhere. Well it's nice knowing you two, zero and Kate, are still alive. Wish Chuck and that old gottaarguementforya crowd could breathe a little life here, eh? My topic of choice is Polar Bears. Have any immigrated over the border to your farm, zero? Reckon Bush will deploy north fence defense troops up there? Well, too poor to "green up" dave signing off today... blessings, salt and peace.

looks like david gave us something to talk about, kate. ha. david gets fired for sticking to principle. boy, that sure sounds like david. i'm proud of you, david. it doesn't put food on the table but it's good anyway. for that things should be infinitely better for you; just on principle! of course, those of us who aren't gazillionaires need to worry about how weren't going to manage to live if prices on everything we need to live keeps going up. not fun stuff or extras but the essentials. henry ford said when he began the auto assembly line that if he didn't keep wages up who was going to buy all his cars? he wanted his workers and workers everywhere to make him rich. that only happens if there's money to spend. i suppose the uberrich of today don't care if there's money for the toads to spend on essentials or extras. they live in a world all their own. say, did you read that there's someone challenging nancy (impeachment is off the table) pelosi for the house seat? not cindy sheehan who is running as an independent but an actual woman going for the democratic nomination. and there's three candidates in the portland oregon area doing the same. challenging sitting democrats for not doing their constitutional duty. and i heard two prominent democrats, one in the house and one in the senate, who have already said that "universal healt coverage" isn't possible. and these was all for it not go long ago. man, they have already been bought by the insurance lobby. grrrrr.....
none of them are trustworthy. none of them. at least they have to prove to me they are trustworthy and they never disappoint.....they prove they aren't! at least they are consistent. how's that, kate? enough between david and myself to grab onto. those shifted letters were me shouting in the darkness. and it got me my friends kate and david! it could happen again.

I dunno zero/Kate,
did Shakespeare write about about a "dead herring" somewhere? Not an environmental issue, but most of Chuch & Co. moved on into into that odd and sometimes scarry seemingly a void yet... well what is "cyberspace"? We knew "them"-- laughed and cried and argued-- and now we don't. Twilight Zone revisited. yep. Much like the blue collar bravado of that working class hero-gal Hilary. Kinda of "trippy" to watch her.
Posted by:david | May 06, 2008 at 09:28 AM
i'm still going with none of the above. i also forgot to address the polar bear question from david. if i had the right environment for polar bears i would love to have them here on the farm. a welcome addition to the grand array of animals already inhabitating the land. we have cougars now. wow!
Posted by:zero | May 06, 2008 at 05:44 PM
