yep - I'm a defector myself -
maybe that's why I'm so motivated to get the current occupant of the WH out - I have a personal responsibility to the world, America, and Christ to right the wrong I committed in 2000 :(
but you know, I was a lot less cynical back then - I believed a lot more of what folks told me, which is esp. funny considering my faith was weaker in 2000 then at almost any time before or after.
