I must say this is a very odd discussion going on in Ohio. As I noted earlier, the repubs stooped so low as to insinuate that Strickland is gay (something of a shock to his wife, I suppose). Now, however, Russell Johnson (debated Jim Wallis earlier this year) says that Strickland should prove that he is not gay. What is up with these folks??
Here, we see a little more on the relative importance to the repub leadership, given the choice between tax cuts for the wealthy, or an increase in the minimum wage. I have a suggestion, why not simply have the minimum wage go up every year by the amount of raise in congressional salaries?
